EL PASO – Recent graduates and students looking for work may be in luck. UTEP is holding its 4th annual Government and Public Service Career Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at UTEP’s Tomás Rivera Conference Center on the third floor of Union Building East.

“There will be a lot of technical jobs, but these agencies hire all kinds of majors, so everyone should come out to discover what opportunities are available,” said Moisés Buenfil, career education and training coordinator at UTEP’s University Career Center and the event coordinator. “Show up and ask questions, and be ready to be interviewed.”

Organizers expect more than 300 job seekers to attend the event that has registered almost two dozen employers, including the U.S. Secret Service, the Department of State, the National Park Service and law enforcement agencies such as the Drug Enforcement Administration.

I wonder how many community organizer positions will be open? The protestors need one.
