Texas Governor Rick Perry is still in the presidential race.

After his 5th place finish in the GOP Iowa caucuses last night, he told supporters he'd take time to reassess his campaign.

That didn't take long. Governor Perry woke up today, and said he's still running for the white house.

"We're going to give the people of South Carolina, New Hampshire, America...a choice in this election...and that's what this process is all about. So, I look forward to continuing on the trail," said Gov. Perry.

Mitt Romney narrowly defeated Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum in the caucuses. Both candidates earned more than 30,000 votes; Romney won by eight votes.
