The El Paso County Sheriff's Office knows that not everyone in our community has things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season, and they're doing their part to ensure that needy families in the county will have food on their tables this holiday.

The Sheriff's Office Advisory board will give 100 turkeys away on Saturday, November 23 to needy families in the county. The turkeys have been pre-selected for needy families in El Paso County and the EPCSO Advisory board will give away 50 turkeys from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the “old” Canutillo Elementary School located at 7000 Fifth Street, in Canutillo.

After that, they will head out to El Buen Pastor Catholic Church located at 311 Peyton Rd in far east El Paso County to give another 50 turkeys away. They will be there from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm.
