BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA— A child managed to escape any injuries after her mother lowered her onto train tracks, seconds before a train came onto the platform.
The woman led her daughter across the tracks at a train station in order to avoid paying for a ticket. The train appeared around the bend and was unable to stop. Bystanders rushed to the mother and the girl, expecting the worst.
The little girl managed to tuck herself into a small space below the platform and was uninjured.
Staff at the station were able to take the girl into safety.
