SUNLAND, NM - The lockdown at an elementary school in Sunland Park remains a mystery tonight, at least to us.

It happened on Monday, the Gadsden School District sent a letter to parents today explaining what happened, but refused to tell us about it.

The deputy superintendent told us he couldn't send us a copy of that letter.

He did say however say that police continue to monitor the school.
