The mother of the man who died along with his girlfriend and two children in a horrific car crash in Anthony, NM is planning their funeral.
Friends of Andrew Valenzuela's mother Cynthia gathered at Our Lady of Refuge Church to sell enchiladas in hopes of raising money to help pay for their burials.

A family friend says her husband was the first person to help the couple and their toddler moments after the crash.  She says they were so badly injured, he didn't recognize them.

"He saw the truck, and the man was already getting out of the truck. He was bleeding and stuff and he said, ' No go help them.' So he looked, and that's when he saw the car,” said family friend Becky Evaro.

"My husband said there is something telling me to look in the back and he looked in the back, and found the little boy. So he got him out and he held him so he wouldn't choke to death on his blood, and he held him there until they came for him,” said Evaro.

Andrew Valenzuela and his girlfriend Carla Diaz died in the crash. Diaz was six months pregnant, but doctors couldn't save her baby.
Evaro says two-year-old Jayden was in surgery for 8 hours.  Because of damage he suffered from a stroke, the family decided to pull him off live support.

"I think it's one of the best things they could have done. He is with his mom and his dad and his sister. He is up there jumping. He was a little boy that was full of energy. He liked to jump, laugh and he is up there in heaven now with his family. All of them. They are all together,” said Evaro.

This isn't the first time this family has been struck by tragedy. Five years ago, Andrew's older brother Adam was also killed in a car accident just miles from Wednesday's crash.

Their mother Cynthia is left to bury her second child who suffered the same fate.
