Friends and Family Organize Two Benefit Concerts for Bandmates

EL PASO - Family and friends have organized two benefits concert for the families of two bandmates killed by a drunk driver on Friday. 

Jonathan Cervoni and Aaron Carrillo were part a christian rock band called Ancient of Days.  They were heading home from a concert at North Gate Church in northeast El Paso.

Jonathan played the guitar and Aaron was the band's drummer. 

Word about the tragic crash spread quickly on Facebook and Twitter.  Comedian Dane Cook tweeted about the crash,
"I'm truly sorry to hear about @joncervoni passing away bc of a drunk driver. it's an unfortunate/unnecessary tragedy."

The Benefit Show to help the families of Jon Cervoni and Aaron Carillo will be held at Cohen Stadium Thursday, July 28 from 12:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

The second benefit will be this Friday, July 15, at the Percolator at 217 N. Stanton.

The show begins at 4:30 p.m. and goes until 10:00 p.m.
