Free Workshop Offers Rainwater Harvest Tips
EL PASO — El Paso Water Utilities planned a workshop that would teach residents how to make the most of their rainwater.
On Saturday, July 20, at 10:30 a.m., the workshop at TecH2O Water Resources Learning Center will show attendees how to expand the 48 average rain days into weeks, and even months, EPWU said.
Carlos M. Ramirez Texas AgriLife Master Gardener Doc Stalker will teach how to properly harvest, store and use our region’s rare rainfall. Rainwater harvesting not only helps conserve water, it can also decrease your water bill and make your plants healthier, EPWU said.
