Police say a man went on a shooting rampage last night at a plant in North Juárez after he learned his ex-wife was sleeping with a co-worker. Four people were killed in the attack and two others were injured. Police arrested 47 year-old Daniel Adrian Chico Hernandez a short time after the shootings. They say he was drunk and under the influence of drugs.

Most of the victims were employees or guards at the Maquiladora plant who were trying to stop the attack. 52 year-old Abundio Grajeda Arguijo, 42 year-old Daniel Ruben Velez Renteria, and 42 year-old Ernesto Zavala Navarro were among the victims. The 4th victim's name has not yet been released.

Owning a firearm is illegal in Mexico and has been for a long time, so banning firearms as being proposed by some here in the states will not allieviate mass shootings.
