Fort Bliss Soldiers to Return

Fort Bliss - Approximately 500 soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery, 11th Air Defense Artillery "Imperial" Brigade, will return to Fort Bliss, Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 13 and 14 from Southwest Asia.

U.S. Central Command deployed the battalion to Southwest Asia in Mar. 2009.

The deployment was in support of standing commitments to regional security and stability.

This unit participated in planned Theater Security Cooperation events and multi-lateral exercises jointly with other CENTCOM units.

The Soldiers will be greeted by family members and Fort Bliss officials at Biggs Army Air Field.

Well now we just have to hope that they get here safely since dates are not supposed to shared. By spouses or anyone else. The station needs to look up OPSEC!!!!!

these are approved public releases from PBO, now relax, let your husband wear the rank and worry about domestic issues.

Its always great to have our men and weomen come home safely. god bless them and everyone else who still need to come back.
