FORT BLISS, TEXAS-Fort Bliss Officials and Soldiers will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov 10 in front of the 1st Armored Division Headquarters off Sergeants Major Blvd.

The ceremony will be hosted by 1st AD and Fort Bliss Commanding General Maj. Gen. Dana J. H. Pittard and will honor veterans of the past, present and those still serving the nation.

“Veterans represent the very best of our Nation. Every Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Airman and Coast Guardsman has earned the lasting gratitude of the American people and their service and sacrifice will be remembered forever,” said a spokesperson for Fort Bliss in a news release.

All El Paso area veterans' organizations, individual veterans, family members, the Fort Bliss community and the public are invited. The event is free.

More than 600 area veterans have been invited and are expected to attend.
