Fort Bliss Military Police & White Sands Firefighters Heading To Wallow Fire

EL PASO -- Firefighters from White Sands and Military Police for Fort Bliss are heading to Arizona to fight the Wallow Fire.
The firefighters left Tuesday night while the Military Police will leave Wednesday morning for Fort Huachuca.
The firefighters will stay in the area for at least five days.
Military Police will assist with evacuations around the fort and be there for security. It is unknown how long they will stay in Fort Huachuca.
The Wallow Fire has been raging for 24 days and has consumed 810 square miles, including dozens of homes and even some highways.
