FORT BLISS, Texas- During the summer months, food banks traditionally encounter lulls in the level of giving due to holidays and other demands on donors' time.

To help the food banks stock up to meet critical needs for their services, Fort Bliss is helping by collecting non-perishable food donations from June 26 - August 26.

Join us for our Feds Feed Families food drive kickoff at the Commissary on June 26 at 11 a.m. There will be live music, giveaways and food sampling! Plus everyone in attendance will be entered in a drawing for a new grill, bicycles and more.

For more information about the Feds Feed Families food drive, contact the Fort Bliss Army Volunteer Corps at fortblissvolunteer@yahoo.com or call (915) 569-4227 ext. 6.
