Fort Bliss officials along with EPCC officials have been working for the past year to establish an EPCC campus at the post. After a competitive process to identify an organization to satisfy the Army's needed for higher educational support on the installation, EPCC competed and was successfully selected by the Army Corps of Engineers.

With an increase in Soldier and Family member population EPCC estimates a need for another campus, this time, on Ft Bliss.

The new EPCC campus will be built on a 250-acre parcel. The new school will have additional facilities to support a number of partner institutions, and include various military-support agencies and amenities including recreational fields that serve the institutions and the post community.

Historically, since it was established EPCC has added facilities based on the needs of students and constructed new campuses. This new facility will provide Soldiers and Family members an opportunity to attend college and facilitate higher educational opportunities on the post.
