El Paso, TX (KTSM) — This week's Manhunt Monday report features a former sheriff's deputy who has been on the run for 11 years now for a crime committed almost 17 years ago.
Deputies said in back in 1997, 54-year-old Peter Calzada and another ex- deputy sheriff kidnapped and raped a woman while on duty.
Both men were later convicted but in 2003, just before his sentencing, Calzada failed to appear in court for and has not been seen since.
