There was more fallout Tuesday night from a cheating scheme in the El Paso Independent School District. Former Bowie High School Principal Jesus Chavez will not be allowed to return to the district as a principal. In a unanimous vote, the board trustees denied Chavez's grievance appeal. Chavez was ousted from his job last April after he allegedly admitted to playing a role in the district's cheating scandal. Chavez was temporarily reassigned to a central office job and was hoping to be reassigned as a principal for another high school in the district.

The nerve of Dr. Chavez for thinking that he could actually return as a principal of ANY school within El Paso County. He admitted that he played a role in this whole mess that cheated students of their education. The guy has no shame. He should be glad he still has a job and is not in jail.
