Santa Teresa - - - New information on a story we first broke last night at 10. It concerns the cathedral JV football game in Santa Teresa.

Several Cathedral players found personal items like cell phones, wallets, and backpacks had been stolen.

The Gadsden ISD tells us the principal of Santa Teresa offered a reward to find out who was behind the thefts. Some of the items have been recovered.

We've also learned the locker room was left unlocked during the game in violation of procedure.

We spoke to the mother of one player who says he had his cell phone and I-Pod taken...

"He was very upset, more angry I think but tears were involved because he was so frustrated."

Gadsden School District Deputy Superintendent Efren Yturraldo told us, "We do apologize to students and parents at Cathedral High." He added, the district will pursue criminal charges against the thieves.
