Firefighters rescue two teenagers from water pipe

EL PASO — UPDATE: Firefighters said four brothers were trying to rappel down a water reserve pipe in West El Paso when two of them got stuck.
Firefighters said a 13 and 14 year old in the group used makeshift rappeling tools but once they got to the bottom of the 50 foot pipe near I-10 and Resler, they realized they weren't going to be able to get out.
They sent the two other brothers to ask for help.
Luckily, there's no water in the pipe right now. Rescue crews were able to pull the pair of teenagers out within an hour.
They were not hurt.
ORIGINAL STORY: Firefighters rescued two teenagers who were trapped in a 40 to 50 foot deep pipe in west El Paso.
The fire department tells us the two boys, ages 13 and 14 were in the area and either fell down or went down the water reserve pipe near on I-10 and Resler just before 4 p.m. Sunday.
There's no water in the pipe at this time.
Firefighters harnessed the boys to safety just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The boys were not injured.
