Firecrews Making Progress on Wildfire in Southwestern New Mexico

Silver City, NM — Slowly but surely, crews are making progress on the largest wildfire in New Mexico's history. The Whitewater-Baldy Complex Fire burning in the Gila Wilderness is now 30 percent contained.
The lightening-sparked fire has already burned more than 263,000 acres.
