Fire Hits Apartment Complex

EL PASO - Firefighters rushed to an apartment fire in Central El Paso this morning.

The fire started around 2 a.m. in a quadruplex in the 3100 block of Douglas Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to smoke and flames coming from the back of the apartments.

We are told no one was inside, but one woman who was standing outside a unit was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Damage is estimated at $20,000.
