Fifth Arrest Made In Pony Trail Murder

El Paso police have made a fifth arrest in the murder of a Juarez cartel member in East El Paso.
According to the El Paso Police Department, Orlando Rafael Benavente has been charged with capital murder and is being held under a $2 million bond.

Investigators say Benavente participated in the execution of Jose Daniel Gonzalez Galena who was gunned down in front of his home on Pony Trail. Galena was a mid-level lieutenant in the Juarez cartel as well as an ICE informant.
