Federal safety experts have now taken over the investigation into this weekend's deadly helicopter crash on McGregor Range. As we reported, the Southwest MedEvac helicopter crashed on landing Friday night. Three men were on board. Pilot William Montgomery and paramedics John Sutter and Anthony Archuleta were on a training exercise. We're told Sutter is from Las Cruces and Archuleta lived in El Paso. The National Transportation Safety Board will try to determine what caused the crash.
