Payments Inside Drop Box Voided

The Las Cruces Utilities payment drop box was covered in crime scene tape after vandals desecrated the unit with feces, investigators said. The dropbox, located between City Hall and Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, was damaged over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and all payments inside the drop box have been voided.

Customers who deposited payments at the drop box between Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Monday, Nov. 26 at 9:30 a.m. are asked to make replacement payment.

Payments may be made in person at City Hall, 700 N. Main St., phoned in by calling 541-2111, mailed, or paid online at www.las-cruces.org

The payment drop box is out of service until further notice.

Man Oh Man, I sure hope there was video surveilance and that it took at good shot at the punks who did this disgracefull act of vandalism. To do this is wrong but to do this during Thanksgiving is disgraceful and unforgiveable.
