Sunday wasthe day to celebrate dads, and El Paso had some eventful venues for them to choose from.

Live music, food and fun were all part of the package deal for dads at Wet N Wild.

Wet N Wild offered father’s free admission today, and a chance to relax on their special day.

'It's a good day,” said Nestor Torres who decided to go to the water park to celebrate this holiday. “It’s nice and cool, it’s not too hot.

There’s a lot to do. The kids are really enjoying themselves, it gives us a chance to relax and cool off to the side."

Kids even got a kick out of it too. The park hosted some events where little kids got the opportunity dance and compete to win prizes.

But for the dads who wanted a little more relaxation, Adrovino’s Desert Crossing had something set up for them as well.

"I’m having a great time with the family,” said Michael Baggs, father who was treated to a brunch at the restaurant. “Enjoying the day

with the in-laws, my sister in law and having a great day."

The restaurant offered food specials and a variety of beers to celebrate this day. Jorge Lara manager of Adrovino’s said the New

Mexican law that allows beer to be served earlier is even a bigger treat for the customers.

"Perfect thing about today for father’s day, New Mexico did change their times for beer offering,” said Lara. “You get five three-once

sampler of beer from eight different brewing we have here in New Mexico."

Lara said Ardovino’s was scheduled to have live music and lots of beer towards the evening on Father’s Day.
