EL PASO - A spokesman for Border Patrol confirmed to us that at least three agencies are investigating a possible shooting on the border.

We were contacted by a local family who says Mexican gunmen shot at a group of hunters on the U.S. side of the border this morning.

We are told no one was injured in the shooting, but the family says gunmen came onto U.S. Territory in the Ysleta district and stole belongings from the hunters after they fled.

We're working on getting more details, and we'll post the latest information as we get it.

Check KTSM.com for details.

But wait, Didn't our local politicians declare that there is NO CROSS BORDER VIOLENCE?????

So let me get this straight...undocumented illegal immigrants that were armed and "citizens" of Mexico crossed our border and may have opened fire on U.S. citizens on U.S. soil.

Cartel,Coyotes or whatever our relationship and foreign policies with Mexico need to be re-evaluated. They were armed and invaded our borders and this needs to be taken as a serious threat to National Security. What if it was a bomb they were smuggling you wouldn't laugh then. 9/11 proved the unexepected can happen.

Lesson learned; don't just take your shotgun when you go dove hunting. Take your AR-15!

Redneck I agree, M4 plus extra mags. I cant wait to go dove hunting, see if they try that crap when we go out there. Try that on us with several years of tactics and training see what happens to them :)
