EL PASO - "She had her whole life ahead of her." That's what friends say about an El Paso college student killed in a car crash Sunday night.

Today family and friends of Bianca Beltran, 19, said goodbye.

"This is never the way it's supposed to be. It's always very difficult to see a child's life taken away early," Carolyn Hauser said.

Hauser taught Beltran geometry and coached her in JV tennis at El Paso High School. Hauser gathered with other friends and family members for Bianca's rosary at the San Jose Funeral Home in Central El Paso. Although they said goodbye, friends like Ernesto Delgado also remembered her.

"Her smile. She used to smile a lot and make people laugh. She was giddy," Delgado said.

"If you weren't smiling when she came in your presence, you were smiling as she was there talking to you because she was just a bubble, a light, a beautiful, beautiful little girl," Hauser said.

We're told Bianca was going to college and had a bright future. That future was cut short Sunday when the car she was in flipped over on Interstate 20 between Big Spring and Stanton, Texas.

"She looked like she knew what she wanted to do in her life. She had her whole life ahead of her," Delgado said.

Family members were too distraught to talk with us. Friends and family stood outside the funeral home, after Bianca's service, holding back tears and forcing smiles.

"I think their faith in the Lord probably gives them a lot of strength and encouragement. I know with her friends they feel that way too. They would just be happier if she was here," Hauser said.

The Beltran family has set up a fund at GECU in El Paso to help pay for funeral expenses. The account information is below.

Why did this accident get more coverage than Andrea Rivera. I think they both just as equally important and special and should of had the same amount of coverage... Disappointed in channel 9
