Neighbors, family members and friends turned out Tuesday night to offer comfort and support after the murder of 32-year-old Yanira Caballero.
On Monday night, family members discovered her body in the closet of her home on Threadgill . Her hands were tied and a bag covered her head.
Then the police arrived, and couldn't find her car or her husband.
Later, they caught up with Antonio Brown in Las Cruces, and arrested him for his wife's murder.
There were a lot of tears outside of Yanira Caballero's house tonight.
Police blocked off the street because so many family members and friends came out to remember her.

More than 50 people arrived at the duplex where Caballero's life ended.
She hadn't contacted family members for several days, and when her sister knocked on the door there was no answer.
Neighbors helped the sister get inside where they made the gruesome discovery.

Caballero’s brother says it may have been a difficult marriage, but it didn't have to end this way.

"You know what, he shouldn't have done that because he already knew if she didn't want to be with him, why would you want her to be with you? There are plenty of woman to be with. You don't have to kill her. You don't,” said Victor Caballero.

"I'm not the person to judge. There's a higher power that's going to, you know going to be out there, and I don't know what happened. Only she and him know, and I just hope she rests in peace,” said Yanira Caballero’s sister Claudia Tellado.
Family members say Caballero's 16-year-old daughter Alexis will live with her grandmother.
Family members say they never heard Caballero mention that she feared for her life.

I new Yanira very briefly at work, Alorica. I meet her because she knew my brother, Shorty, very well. They were very good friends. She always said Hi to him and vice versa. As you all may know,he is in prison. Yanira is in a great place with our Lord. My prayers go out to family and friends. The evil ways of the flesh (world) are ugly and something like this is very painful and hard to understand, but forgiveness is of the Lord. It is extremely hard to forgive a person when they take the most irreplaceable person in our life's. It took me almost 25 years to forgive the woman who took my mom from me, but with the Lord in me I have. Angry is going to rule our heart for a long time, but here is a little something I found.
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy truimph over me? Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death. (ps. 12:1-3
In time give up your anger. It has its purpose, but it will outlive its purpose. In spite of all David's angry questions, he came to this place: But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me. (ps. 13:5-6)

R.I.P YANIRA I REMEMBER WHEN U USE TO GO TO CESAR CHAVEZ I HAVE THE YEARBOOK WHERE U CAN SEE YOUR BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND THE HAPPINESS OF A BEAUTIFUL FACE MAY U REST IN PEACE.

rest in peace
