Family of Aaron Carrillo begs El Pasoans to think before they drink
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department in collaboration with the family of Aaron Carrillo is asking El Pasoans to think before they drink this Spring Break Holiday Week.
Drinking and driving is not only illegal, it can be deadly. El Paso Police will be extra vigilant in focusing on DWI enforcement in the days leading up to and during Spring Break with extra officers dedicated to DWI enforcement.
EPPD reminds anyone drinking alcohol to not drive. If you decide to drink, find a designated driver or call someone to pick you up.

The family of Aaron Carrillo released a message to the community reminding them to not drink and drive. Carrillo, along with his friend and bandmate Jon Cervoni, were killed July 8, 2011 along Loop 375 by a drunk driver as they were helping a friend who was having car troubles. Carrillo was a student at Montwood High School, Cervoni was a student at Eastwood High School at the time of their deaths, they were both sixteen.
The driver that hit them, Hector Tellez, was sentenced to two consecutive twenty year prison terms for killing the teens.
