Amigo Airsho Board President, Roxie Samaniego announced that at this year’s Amigo Airsho, October 12th and 13th, the Air Combat Command’s F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team from Langley Air Force Base will perform.

“This will be the first time that the F-22 Raptor Demonstration will perform at the Amigo Airsho,” said Ms. Samaniego.   The F-22 Raptor performance will feature precision aerial maneuvers to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the world's only operational fifth-generation fighter.

The F-22 Raptor is the Air Force's newest fighter aircraft. Its combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability, represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities. The Raptor performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions allowing full realization of operational concepts vital to the 21st century Air Force.

“We know that Amigo Airsho fans are going to be thrilled by the F-22 Raptor demonstration that includes the power loop, split, and tail slide, as well as a high speed pass and dedication pass,”, said Amigo Airsho, Chief Executive Officer Pancho Mangan.  “The F-22 Raptor joins an already exciting 2013 line-up which includes the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, the US Army Golden Knights, as well as some of the industry's best civilian performers,” continued Mr. Mangan.

The 2013 Amigo Airsho will be held at Biggs Army Airfield October 12th and 13th.  The Amigo Airsho provides premiere family entertainment that enriches West Texas, New Mexico and Northern Mexico.  The Amigo Airsho Inc. is committed to providing the Paso del Norte region, a unique bi-cultural area, with innovative, safe and exciting aerial performances, as well as other fun family activities.
