EPISD Wants Help from TEA
EL PASO - EPISD Interim Superintendent Terri Jordan wants the district to get help from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Jordan wants the TEA to work with EPISD to establish new rules to prevent administrators from failing students, or promoting them just to make their district look better.
It was weeks ago that Bowie high's principal and district executive were removed, amid allegations that the school changed students' grades, and pushed low-performing students out.
The federal government is investigating EPISD.
