EL PASO — For the third time, a man is arrested accused of drinking and driving. This time, El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies said he hit a car in the act and didn't stop.

Witnesses called 911 after a car wreck on Doniphan and Brooks in Canutillo just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

A white Buick Skylark involved in the wreck allegedly took off.

Anthony, Texas police stopped the car a few minutes later.

Deputies arrested Luis Vasquez, 42, for DWI and possession of a controlled substance after deputies allegedly found cocaine in the car.

Vasquez also had a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

They're holding him without bond.
