If you don't have plans this weekend, there's a production being put on the El Paso Community College Theater Ensemble, "Butterflies Are Free".

It's a comedy written by Leonard Gershe. It tells the story of a blind young man seeking independence while creating problems with his mother and his new roommate as he struggles to become self-reliant.

The production is also to honor retiring EPCC professor and director of the play, Hector Serrano, for all his hard work at the college. He selected the play to be his last.

You can catch the production Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the EPCC Transmountain Campus Forum Theater located at 9570 Gateway North.

Tickets information:
