Elementary school principal pleads guilty to DWI charges
An elementary school principal pleaded guilty to driving drunk.
Fannin Elementary School's Principal Gabriela Cortez was caught driving drunk in west El Paso back in November 2011.
Court records show Cortez pleaded guilty to the charges. As part of her punishment she must complete 60 hours of community service, she'll have a curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., unless she has to go to work or school and any car she drives must have a camera ignition interlock.
Fannin's website still lists Cortez as the principal.
