A senior center hiking trip turns deadly for one Las Cruces man.
New Mexico State Police say a 70 year-old man was hiking near the top of the Organ mountains when he suffered chest pains.
Someone called 911 for help at 11:30 AM, Thursday, but by the time search and rescue crew made the hike and located him, the man had already died.
Helicopters could not aid in the search because of the terrain.
