EL PASO- The Super Bowl is less than 24 hours away. If you're planning on hosting your own party at home, hopefully you've finished purchasing all of your Super Bowl must have foods.
Grocery stores were filled on Saturday with NFL fans filling their carts with all their favorite game day foods.
"Chicken wings. Chicken wings, and vegetable trays, and food cooked on the grill,” said shopper Kristen Goldsmith.
Many will find any excuse they can to enjoy their favorite foods during Sunday's big game.
"It's like that last fling to really eat before we really need to start watching it because we've been eating junk food for three months now,” said shopper Julie Witte.
Witte says that finding all of the perfect finger foods takes up the whole day.
"Three stops. You know, different things. Different specials. Trying to feed a crowd. Try to feed whoever is there and probably eat left overs for a week,” said Witte.
Shoppers say that they could have beat the crowds if they would have finished their grocery shopping a few days earlier.
"This year we waited until the last minute. We were busy and it's crowded. So next year, we will be a little earlier,” said shopper Andy Mazoff.
"I think people do wait until the last minute, and when they come everything is gone, but we bought their burgers. They are delicious, and we are going to cook them out at some friends house tomorrow,” said Goldsmith.
