El Paso, TX (KTSM) — El Pasoans can help the Sierra Providence Health Network and the American Cancer Society find a cure for cancer.
The two are partnering together for the Historic Cancer Prevention Study III.
The study is looking for half a million people between the ages of 30 and 65, who have never before diagnosed with cancer and are willing to make a long-term commitment to the study.
Researchers hope this study will help them better understand the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
The last day to register for the Providence Memorial Hospital location is Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
