The Texas Board of Pardons and Parols has rejected a clemency request for George Rivas, 41.

Rivas will be executed for gunning down an Irving police officer at a sporting goods store 11 years ago. Rivas and six other inmates -- known as the Texas 7, escaped a state prison before robbing the store.

George was given a raw deal to begin with and that says a lot about our legal system. He was given 13 life sentences for a robbery in which nobody was hurt and the "victims" actually said positve things about him.... His first time in prison he was for a robbery where nobody was hurt and he had a heftier sentence than Murders Rapist and Drug Dealers and that in it self is NOT Justice..... He escaped because he was not given a choice BUT Nobody was hurt during the escape either and the entire time they were out during their escape NOBODY got hurt..... The Police Offficer was simply at the WRONG PLACE at the WRONG TIME.... Collateral Damage but when he took his oath to be an officer that is exactly what he signed up for to work in dangerous situations in the linde of duty..... The shooting of Hawkins was not intentional... they just all panicked and it turned into a shoot out and George himself was shot and those are the things that people do not take into account.... Know the whole "story" before you spout your evil words.... Besides who made Rick Perry's Ignorant self God to kill people.... Two Wrongs Do NOT make a Right and the State of Texas has Blood on their hands as well for Killing too
