El Paso Zoo to begin Watermelon Wednesdays
El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — If you're looking for an outdoor activity with your kids, you might want to head to the El Paso Zoo on a Wednesday this month.
The zoo is starting something called "Watermelon Wednesdays."
Each Wednesday animals will get to munch on the juicy and sticky treat. It's part of the zoo's enrichment program, which is aimed at mentally and physically stimulating the animals.
