The El Paso Times has removed a fake obituary from its Web site following a story on NewsChannel 9. Jeanette Cooperrider, 72, was shocked to find her name listed in Tuesday's obituaries. The posting went as far as to list visitation and funeral times.
Many of Cooperrider's friends and relatives were shocked when they read the obituary and later found out she as not dead after all. We still do not know who posted it or why.
