El Paso remembers fallen Navy airman
EL PASO — An El Paso family is headed to Washington state to bring home the body of a fallen Navy airman. 24 year-old William Brown McIlvaine III was killed Monday when the plane he was on crashed in Eastern Washington. The naval flight officer and two other men were participating in a training mission. All three were killed. McIlvaine is the son of Dr. William McIlvaine, Jr., a pediatric anesthesiologist at El Paso Children's Hospital and a professor at Texas Tech University's School of Medicine. The university Wednesday offered its condolences to the McIlvaine family on the school's facebook page.
