EL PASO, TX - The Sun City is holding it's spot as the second safest large city in United States. See the Top 5...
The FBI released their 2009 Preliminary Crime Statistics, and *based on the numbers El Paso has the second lowest number of violent crimes per capita of the top **25 most populated cities.
San Diego, California beat out the Sun City for the number one spot.

1) San Diego, CA
2) El Paso, TX
3) Austin, TX
4) Phoenix, AZ
5) New York City, NY
*KTSM divided the number of violent crimes by city population and multiplied the value by 100,000.
**Crime Rates for Chicago, IL were not listed in the FBI's report.
