EL PASO - For the second time in less than two months a shootout on the Mexican side of the border has put El Paso Police an alert.

This morning officers and Border Patrol Agents in the Lower Valley heard gunshots coming from Juarez but as far as we know, no bullets have been found on U.S. territory and no injuries have been reported.

You may remember a similar incident happened in August, but back then bullets actually flew into El Paso's Westside. That prompted police to shut down the Border Highway, and we were told at the time that D.P.S. officers came close to shutting down I-10 because of the danger. At that time a bullet was found lodged into a UTEP campus building.
