El Paso police say security cameras recorded the man as he allegedly took the purse.

On Tuesday December 17th 2013, the victim walked into the Leo’s Restaurant located at 7520 Remcon Circle. Police say the victim placed her purse on a bench by the entrance of the restaurant while she talked to people she was meeting with.  The victim left the restaurant at about 3:09p.m., and forgot that her purse was on the bench.  At 3:16p.m., the man seen on the surveillance photos walks by the bench after a female that accompanied him pointed it out.  The man returned to the bench and allegedly grabbed the purse. The man then walked out of the restaurant.  Shortly after the suspect took the purse the victim returned and found that her purse had already been stolen.
