EL PASO (KTSM) — El Paso's P.F. Chang's is not listed as one of the 33 locations affected by a recent security breach according to the company's website.
8 California restaurants appear on the list. Austin is the only Texas city listed.
The Chinese food chain announced in June that customer credit and debit card information was compromised and that hackers may have stolen card numbers and possibly names and expiration dates.
The breach happened between October 19, 2013 and June 11. P.F. Chang's said the U.S. Secret Service alerted the company to the security issues.
In a statement on its website, the company said, "...our team has worked continuously to investigate the security compromise and to ensure the security of our guests' credit and debit card information. The security compromise has been contained and P.F. Chang's has been processing credit and debit card data securely at all locations since June 11, 2014."
