Its film makers says it was the largest peace rally in human history that couldn't stop the United States from invading Iraq.

"Think Peace" is this month's Pax Christi Film Series choice of movie.

El Pasoans gathered at the Mother Teresa Center in downtown El Paso to attend the screening.

The film looks at what went wrong with the peace movement in Iraq from different points of views.

"It discusses the huge protest that occurred right before the Iraq war. And the question basically is why did it fail? Why did it not make an impact on our elected officials?" said Edward Carpenter, member of El Paso Pax Christi.

The Pax Christi Film Series presents themed movies on one Sunday of each month.

Admission is always free.
