El Paso native and finalist from "The Voice" returns to the Borderland
El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — One year ago you would have been hard pressed to find someone outside of Texas who knew Jonny Gray. Now the El Paso native can hardly walk down the street without being noticed.
Jonny Gray, Season 5 finalist for NBC's The Voice and El Paso native, is back in the Borderland to kick-off "Last Mic Standing," an open-mic competition for area musicians to be held at The
Fountains at Farah.
The First-Mic performance by Gray took place Thursday, June 5 from 7-9pm at the BMW of El Paso Amphitheater located on the Promenade level of The Fountains.
Gray has since moved to Austin, Texas, but still has family in El Paso, including his grandparents.
