El Paso Municipal Rose Garden blossoms into spring

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Spring has sprung -- and the El Paso Municipal Rose Garden is in full bloom!

The four-acre facility is home to approximately 1500 rose bushes of about 320 varieties.

"There's always something new to see every time you get here," Master Gardener Patrick O'Brian tells KTSM.

Although the garden is most popular during the spring and summer months, its staff works hard to maintain it all year.

"We are like proud parent we just love and nurture our bushes all year long," Master Gardener Molly Lama said, "and it's so rewarding to come back and be the fruits of our labor."

Located at 1702 N. Copia St., the El Paso Municipal Rose Garden is open daily from March 1 through November 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
