A man is recovering from serious injuries after police say he crashed his motorcycle in far East El Paso.

Investigators say 35-year-old Saul Levario hit a median and lost control of his motorcycle after running the stop sign at the intersection of Mike Godwin and Edgemere around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Levario was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries. Levario was not wearing a helmet. Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
