EL PASO - A young man was killed in a motorcycle crash in east El Paso early this morning.

Police have identified him as 23-year-old Noe Perez. This is a picture that we got from his facebook page.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the intersection of Gateway West and Sumac Drive.

Police say Perez was speeding when he crashed into a Lincoln Town Car in the intersection. He was thrown off the bike and died at Del Sol Medical Center a short time later.

Police arrested the driver of the Lincoln Town Car on a DWI charge. He's 33-year-old Christopher Magana. Police don't believe Magana caused the crash, but they're still investigating.

Ohh really ppl post the stupedest comments ever!! If u guys don t even knw what happend I dnt think u should even speak of this because you are hurting a lot of ppl!! So just keep ur dumb comm to ur selfs!! And no kathe he didn't want to die he was a guy with a lot of dreams and plans for his future and this stupid drunk dude just crushed them all and yes its magans fault even if u guys dnt want to admitted! He should b in jail for life!!!

Unfortunately a life was lost, We can not judge the rider because 1. he is not here and 2. we weren't there. Most people like fxaxrx and kathe are willing to put the blame on the bike rider and it's not ALWAYS there fault. Drivers are not always looking for them and yes some do ride like crazy people, but then again so do some people in cars. Just the other day a motorcycle rider was hit by a car WHILE SITTING AT A REDLIGHT WAITING FOR IT TO CHANGE. Do we blame the rider? Some will anyway. FYI

You didn't know him. What the police say happen its what everyone thinks. But only him and Magana know what really happened. Magana probably doesn't even know because he had been drinking. Perez might have been going fast but it doesn't justify Magana drinking and driving. Its always the other person who dies not the one who was drinking. So I say both are at fault.

Yes, why do these ppl on this crotch rockets insisting that the rules of the road don't apply to them? The sad fact is Magana is going to be charged with DWI but it won't be connected to the accident since the motorcyclist is at fault for speeding. I know ppl who knew this guy and are mourning for him. The message goes out to all motorcyclists: OBEY the rules of the road. They are there for yours and everyone's safety. They are not flexible and nor is death.

unfourtunate thesee youn man drive like they wanted to get kill.. and they do..sorry for His family....is a tragedy that their parents are the ones that suffer more.
