Another developing story we are following at this hour.
Another El Paso judge has been indicted for bribery.
She's Regina Arditti a name many of you are familiar with.

Arditti there on the right has been in trouble with the law before.
She's been indicted on nepotism charges and is awaiting trial.

Tonight a new indictment charges her and convicted Judge Manuel Barraza with bribery and abuse of office.
All the charges stem from allegations that the two hired each other's relatives while on the bench.

Arditti's lawyer, Theresa Caballero, called a late afternoon news conference to dispute the indictments.
"Why if people believe she committed bribery why didn't he indict her for that a year ago? Why now so and these are questions that the jury is going to be asking too," Caballero said.

You recall, former Judge Barraza is serving a five-year prison term after his conviction on federal bribery charges two months ago.
